The IAAF has asked the South African athletics federation to conduct a gender verification test on 800-meter runner Caster Semenya amid concerns she does not meet the requirements to compete as a woman.
Well gee...that's kinda embarrassing. Don't you think? On the other hand, it's getting harder to tell in these days of steriod use. When it comes right down to the "nitty-gritty" there's only one sure way to know - check the plumbing. Indoor equals woman. Outdoor equals man. Okay...now how hard is that?
