Can Positive Thoughts Help Heal Another Person?

 I’ve always

believed in the

power of positive

thinking.

I had no religious upbringing and developed my world view by reading religious books like the Bible and the Koran, to name just two. No organized religion has ever appealed to me however.

They all have one thing in common: intolerance towards other religions. Each believes it’s the “One True Way.” Some would call me an atheist because I don’t believe in any of the gods the organized religions promote.

But I do believe there is a supreme intelligence “out there” somewhere. Probably with a name I can’t  pronounce!

Ninety percent of Americans say

they pray — for their health, or their

love life or their final exams. But

does prayer do any good?

“For decades, scientists have tried to test the power of prayer and positive thinking, with mixed results. Now some scientists are fording new — and controversial — territory.”
