Finding comes from fossilized jaw discovered in the Dallas-Fort Worth area
A pterosaur that flew above what is now the Dallas-Fort Worth area (which was covered by a sea millions of years ago) was identified from its fossilized jaw.
Hopefully, more specimens of this new species will be found, and we will be able to learn more about its lifestyle - eating habits, reproduction, etc.
