Tesla hopes investors are charged about IPO

But the electric car maker has never shown a profit and that will continue until 2012 - if everything goes well.

I wrote a column two years ago about the future for electric cars in America for the Eureka Reporter (now defunct), and mentioned Tesla as an upcomer in the industry. That hasn’t exactly turned out, but they’re still hanging around and plan to build cars here in Fremont, California!
