The following are all declared candidates:
As posted earlier today, Herman Cain, businessman, politician, and media experience, is running on the Republican ticket.
I expect some people will “Raise Cain” over the fact that he knows more about making pizzas than politicking.
---------------------------------
Newt Gingrich, a former Speaker of the House, has boldly declared his candidacy, despite the baggage that follows him around like a bad odor.
Tough to imagine he’ll get the backing of the Moral Majority (Hey! Wait a minute…are they even still around?).
--------------------------------------
Gary Johnson was the first to declare his candidacy for the Republican ticket.
Who is Gary Johnson?
I told you, here’s the former governor of New Mexico.
Well…how do I know what he stands for? I never heard of the guy before. Of course, he could say the same about me. Kinda looks presidential doesn’t he?
---------------------------------------------------------------
Fred
Who Karger, is a former political consultant, and a Gay Rights Activist.
Fred’s resume shows he worked as a senior consultant for Presidents Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush and Gerald Ford. Did I mention he’s a Republican?
Fred Who?
---------------------------------
Barack Obama, the current president of the United States.
What can I say? He’s the hands-down competition for the entire field.
Nothing like being an incumbent. I realize he’s got all of these cool slogans like “Yes, We Can” and other classics, but give me some time and I’ll come up with some even more catchy!
Without even blushing, I’m taking that “changy” thing and running with it as fast as I can!
------------------------------------
Ron Paul, the U.S. Rep. from Texas, tossed his Stetson into the ring recently.
This is his third attempt at being the leader of the free world. He may surprise some. you just can’t write off the Power of the Dork Side for some Republicans!
-----------------------
Tim Pawlenty, the current Governor of Minnesota, has a hankering to be president, and already has plans for the West Wing.
He’s a colorful character don’t you think?
I’m not sure what kind of impact he’s on on the State of Minnesota, but this Republican believes he has the right stuff.
I have a hunch his campaign is going to employ some cinematic tricks to make him look good!
------------------------------------------------------------------
THAT’S ALL FOR NOW FOLKS!
