Romney makes it official: he’s out to buy the presidency

The turnaround artist known as Mitt Romney announced that he’s running for president today.

Declared the “Once and Future” Republican Party hopeful, Romney hopes a lot of people have short memories.

Especially when it comes to "Romneycare."

The health care law he signed as governor has gone on to extend coverage to more than 98 percent of Massachusetts residents, unparalleled in the nation.

But he's not bragging.

As a matter of fact he’s trying to downplay the universal health care coverage he got for Massachusetts residents. Why you ask? It’s simple; Romneycare looks too much like Obamacare which the rest of the Republican candidates are trying to dismantle.

It’s really kinda awkward for Mitt. He did a fine thing for his state, but has to somehow renounce it to the Rabid Right who have seizures when they hear the word Obamacare.

Is the Mormonator up to the task? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
