Dear Santa: can we have a brand new Congress?

Ho! Ho! Ho! Our lame ass lawmakers managed to avert shutting the government down in time for Christmas.

“Republicans yielded on policy affecting communist Cuba and Democrats gave way on new energy standards for light bulbs to seal an agreement Thursday evening on a massive $1 trillion-plus year-end spending package in time avert a possible government shutdown this weekend.”

GEE… WHAT HOLIDAY SPIRIT. GIVES ME THE GOOSEBUMPS.

Is that Santa sneaking out of the back of the White House with a look of disgust on his face?

THE TEA PARTY IS SIMMERING THIS HOLIDAY SEASON BY ORDER OF THE KOCH BROTHERS AND OTHER CORPORATE MASTERS  – ALTHOUGH EACH LITTLE TEA PARTY FROM EACH STATE CLAIMS THEY ARE A GRASSROOTS MOVEMENT THAT IS GOING TO EXPLODE (SPENDING MILLIONS TELLING LIES) NEXT YEAR ONTO THE ELECTION SCENE.
