Flip-Flopper Romney gets new moniker: Etch-a-Sketch Man

Yes, the Etch-a-Sketch man can…

be good for a laugh now and then!

One of his top advisers popped off, and now Romney has to live down his new tag.

The result was a feeding frenzy for his many opponents. The first to strike:

Team Santorum sent out a frenzied e-mail:

“SHOCKING VIDEO EMBEDDED - LIKE AN ETCH A SKETCH. TEAM ROMNEY ADMITS THEIR CANDIDATE WILL CHANGE POSITIONS IN THE GENERAL ELECTION.”

The parodies have already started. Here’s one of the better ones.

Romney’s opponentsleft and right – have crafted entire campaigns built on how Mitt is the consummate flip-flopper. Now, Mitt’s own adviser has tattooed him with a pop culture image to match that perception. And it will …not …go…away.

The Dems will be thumping this one for months. Bill Burton, the former Obama spokesman who now fronts his SuperPAC called it a “candid admission” of how Romney “is going to try to mask his right-wing, anti-middle class agenda in order to win the election.”

All I can say is, with friends like that (Mitt’s top advisor) who needs enemies?
