It’s becoming a habit: Mutt flubs up on foreign policy again

Mutt once again demonstrated his acute foreign policy acumen by trying to take a cheap political shot at the president after the attack on the US Embassy in Libya.

I quote the moron:

Romney said at his press conference today: “The embassy of the United States issued what appeared to be an apology for American principals. That was a mistake.”

If Mutt and his handlers would have waited a bit before thinking about the consequences they would have found out that “This apologyis what the embassy released prior to the attack. It was an attempt by those working at the embassy to save their own lives. Mutt is essentially blaming those who were killed.

Almost as bad is that the Mutt campaign has used this as an excuse to say things like this:

Reince Priebus@Reince

“Obama sympathizes with attackers in Egypt. Sad and pathetic.”

There’s so much wrong going on here that I can barely comprehend it. But I’ll try to break it down into three main points:

#1) This is not a time to play politics in the first place. Romney shouldn’t have released any political attacks in response to this. It’s just not the time or the place.

#2) By saying that the embassy made a mistake by issuing its “apology” before the attack Mutt is blaming those who were killed instead of blaming the attackers. Blaming the victim is never right but particularly not in a situation like this.

#3) Mutt has flat out lied by saying that Barry has “sympathized” with the attackers. He is using the “apology” released by the embassy (not by Barry) before the attack to make this claim. It’s ridiculous.

         What President Obama actually said:

“The United States condemns, in the strongest terms, this outrageous and shocking attack.”
