They really said that: Mitt Romney better take a second look at what happened

Here’s what Mitt Romney has to say about the debt deal in Washington D.C.:

“As president, my plan would have produced a budget that was cut, capped and balanced – not one that opens the door to higher taxes and puts defense cuts on the table."

Excuse me a moment Mitt. Reality check time; The Republicans tied raising the debt ceiling -- a routine move by past presidential administrations -- to spending cuts, not Obama.

"President Obama’s leadership failure has pushed the economy to the brink at the eleventh hour and 59th minute. While I appreciate the extraordinarily difficult situation President Obama’s lack of leadership has placed Republican members of Congress in, I personally cannot support this deal.”

Talk about spin. Give me a break Mitt. I know your in full rhetoric race mode trying to get the GOP’s okay to lead them, but take a look at what’s happened to the Republican Party.

Freshman Tea Bag members of the House wouldn’t go along with your fellow Republicans. That divisive broadside from them almost brought the House and the Senate to a complete halt in negotiations and threatened the American economy like no other time in history.

Fact is Mitt, you stayed on the sidelines until forced to vote. I’d like to see what you would have done if you were in Obama’s place…NO! What the hell am I saying? The country would have gone into the dark ages as you spoke out of both sides of your mouth.

Party on Mitt! Just don’t expect people to see you as a real leader.
