If and when Republicans figure out who their presidential candidate will be, they're not done with selections.
They'll get a fresh start selecting a candidate for vice president, with all the runners-up and wannabees angling for attention.
Not so with the Democrats — they're pretty much stuck with the guy they picked last time around.
