Romney tries to avoid ‘birther issues’–his and Obama’s–but hangs with wealthy ‘birther’ nut Trump…

I feel so much better.

It’s official, Mitt “Richie Rick”Romney appears eligible to be president.

Despite the fact that his daddy was born on Mexico, he was a U.S. citizen when Mitt emerged from his Utah-born mom Lenore on American soil.

Reuters released a copy of Romney's birth certificate yesterday:

Willard Mitt Romney, the certificate says, was born in Detroit on March 12, 1947.

Romney has made a feeble attempt to avoid getting caught up in Trump's focus on Obama's birthplace for good reason; it’s a battle too close to home.

"Governor Romney has said repeatedly that he believes President Obama was born in the United States," said Eric Fehrnstrom, a senior adviser to Romney.

However, Mitt continues to hang around trump Trump like a puppy seeking a treat. Having a fund raiser where the winner gets to go out to dinner with “The Donald” appears to me to be a direct endorsement of that batshit crazy Trump.

Appears hell! Those two have been spotted in various restaurants for months “‘noodling like lovers” as they plot to re-write American history if Mitt gets elected.

Guilt by association: ”Look, we’re not big fans of “guilt by association” attack politics. And while it’s as old as the Republic, it’s cheap and usually has little impact on the public at large. But Trump is not exactly someone who is helpful to Romney in his attempt to warm himself to swing voters, particularly women. Perhaps there’s something else the Romney campaign is up to; maybe they believe by hugging Trump now, it’ll be easier to tell him “no” when he asks to speak at the Republican convention. As George Will put it, “I do not understand the cost benefit here. The costs are clear. The benefit — what voter is going to vote for him because he is seen with Donald Trump? The cost of appearing with this bloviating ignoramus is obvious, it seems to me.” (Source)

Vote Dave for President this November! I can’t stand Trump and there’s no “birther debate” when it comes to my backround.

  1. The Romney campaign has only released a short-form birth certificate for Romney.

It is precisely the same kind of a computer-generated document that birthers called a COLB and claimed was not adequate proof when Obama published his. Notice that it does not show the name of the hospital or the doctor. And it says VOID on both sides.

Anyone could create such a document using Photoshop. Why hasn’t Romney shown his real birth certificate?
