Romney’s impressive first stop overseas–he spurs controversy!

I don’t know about you, but I’m really impressed with Mutt’s move to go on a world tour in the middle of the campaign to establish some credibility.

He no sooner leaves American shores to show what a man of the world he is…and he’s already sparked a firestorm with the British Press and Olympic Committee.

While in London on the first leg of his tour to show what a statesman he is, he pisses off the Brits! Amazing.

“In his interview last night with NBC’s Brian Williams, Romney called several logistical issues at the 2012 Olympic games here “disconcerting” -- including a contracted security firm’s failure to provide enough personnel -- and said that a possible planned strike by customs and immigration officials was “not something which is encouraging.” (source)

Mutt quickly, and abjectly, backpedaled – a skill earning him his nickname “Etch-a-Sketch” and said what a great job those Brits were doing with every aspect of the Olympic Games.

It’s perhaps this skill, the ability to completely flip flop from something he’s said, that makes Mutt such a competitive candidate for the GOP. The party is hoping it will be the edge Mutt needs to win.
