What is Dave’s stance on legalizing marijuana?

Curious people, with nothing better to think about, have asked me where I stand on numerous issues. Fair enough. I guess I could share.

Here’s the first in an ongoing series of positions I take on stuff that matters to Americans.

#1 - I’ll legalize Marijuana throughout America

A new poll shows that a solid majority of Americans believe that marijuana should be legalized.

Poll Results

* 55% of all American adults support marijuana legalization (vs. just 40% against it, 5% are “not sure.”)

* 63% of Democrats, 61% of independents, and 41% of Republicans support legalization.

By the way; how awesome is it that the late Carl Sagan’s wife is President of NORML?

Yes; Carl Sagan was a marijuana smoker. He was also a brilliant astronomer (the Cosmos series is a classic.)

Sagan is just one of many examples that prove that the stereotype about marijuana users all being lazy losers is absolutely false.
