Forget about connecting with people Mitt

imagesCAHL38TG

Romney will never win a popularity contest. He’s not the kind of guy you can just “shoot the shit with,” and that’s becoming more apparent every day.

The guy has no personality. He’s a “bean counter.” The ultimate CEO. When he tries to smile his face cracks and it looks painful.

But, like it or not, the GOP appears to be moving in the direction of nominating “Richie Rich” Romney.

In National Review, editor Rich Lowry argues that Mitt should dump trying to connect with voters and simply channel his inner CEO.

Snippet:

“If Romney is the Republican nominee, he would be wise to resist all the advice he’ll get on how to forge the kind of connection with voters that has heretofore escaped him. He should play by different rules: Don’t go out of your way to empathize.”

Personally, I’d rather elect a well programed android that had no religion. It couldn’t do any worse than Mitt the Mormon, who couldn’t possible connect with the average American’s concerns.

But who knows? Maybe that’s what the country wants!!!!
